Hi, I’m Neil from Beechwood Tree Care, and I just found an awesome beach. It’s just crazy. I wanted to share it with you. Let’s have a look. I was coming up this path and check this out. Not the biggest beech ever, but it’s either been copiced or maybe even hedge laid. It’s just taken up this entire dry stone wall below and just swallowed it.
It might be two or three beeches of come together and combined and fused, and now you’ve got this multi stem canopy halfway up a hillside.
How much wall is inside that tree? It starts there and it must go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 meters along. Absolutely incredible what trees can do. Fascinating and given that trees don’t grow very big around here, I’m guessing this is pretty old.
Its survived a bit more than this Ash did, look a bit of failure there. As I walk up the hill, look at the view of the canopy. So looking back down, there it is in all its glory.
