It’s Neil from Beechwood Tree Care here. I’m actually working out on the tools, which is a fairly rare for me, but let’s have a look at what we’re up to.
So we’re on a clearance job and there’s a row of conifer here. Theres 35 of them, 25 got felled at the end of last week, and we are just back to fell the last 10. And then we will ship it all up, and it’s all cleared out of the way.
These trees have been inspected to make sure there’s no nesting birds and, because we are the middle of August now, there was nothing in them, so that’s fine.
And now we’re just taking them down piece by piece. And then we use the machine to clear up and they’ll all go through our big wood chipper. I will come back to you with a little bit of an update.
So there we are. All the trees are down. We are just back to our final visit, the guys finished this job yesterday. There were 35 conifers there, running along the boundary of the motorway, they’ve all been safely felled down to ground level, the whole site tidied up.
And all we’re left with is a big pile of timber that will get recycled, and probably go off as chip wood I suspect, and then there’s a big pile of wood chippings behind, which will get recycled as well, and the site is ready for use.
